By incorporating industry standard certifications from Digidesign, Apple, and Waves—mixed with core techniques and concepts in production, mixing, engineering, video editing and music theory—we are able to offer a fast paced, no-nonsense training path to your production dreams. People from different industries, different professions, different backgrounds, and different age groups come to Future Rhythm to learn music and audio production, as well as video editing. New users, seasoned full-time audio professionals, and everyone in between, enroll with different objectives, with the common goal of getting the best sound quality possible for their projects.

Small Class Sizes

We are committed to ensuring that every one of our students gets the personal attention that they deserve. Classes typically have 4-8 students, and are not larger than 10 students. Expert classes usually have 2-3 students, and are not larger than 4 students.

Hands-On Training

We think that it is important for students to have access to their own production lab system during class. We have learned that during class lectures it can be very distracting to a student if they are sharing a lab station, so we make sure all students get hands-on training at their own lab station. On occasion, students may pair up for specific lab assignments, but these minimal occurrences never interfere with a student getting the proper hands-on training during class time.

Schedule Options

We offer the most flexible scheduling options available anywhere. Though our programs are taught in an intensive method, individuals have the opportunity to obtain a full education in music and audio production in a matter of months. This makes it possible for students from all over the world to attend. We also have weekend programs in Pro Tools training for people not able to take classes on weekdays.

We are partnered with SLM Financial to offer student loans with 100% financing, zero down, and affordable monthly payments. In addition to tuition, the student loan can be used to purchase a training kit of equipment you need for your production studio as well as travel expenses.

Retake Classes for Free

Many of our students are new to music and audio production and video editing, and require additional class time. We offer all of our students the ability to retake or "sit-in” on taken classes free of tuition charge for at least one year. You will not find an offer like this anywhere.

Partnership with SFSU offers College Credits

Future Rhythm's partnership with SFSU allows any qualifying student who takes most Digidesign Pro Tools classes at Future Rhythm to receive 2 College Credits per class. To obtain college credits there are additional fees.

Facilities Equipped with the Latest Software and the Entire Line-Up of Digidesign Hardware

We stay current with all the latest software and hardware. Future Rhythm's Pro Tools facilities offer students both TDM and LE systems including a Pro Tools|HD3 system with 192 I/O interface, Pro Tools|HD2 systems with 96 I/O interfaces, MIDI I/O, SYNC I/O, PRE, Avid Mojo, AVoption V10, and a video deck with machine control as well as the M-Box, M-Box II and multiple Digidesign Control surfaces including the D-Command & Pro Control.
