"As a young musician I realize how important it is today to present your musical ideas as polished and great sounding as possible. The days of handing out a demo of your work recorded on a stereo system in your basement are long gone. Upon signing up, I had basic recording knowledge but never really interacted with a Pro Tools system before. The whole training is designed to get you up to speed even if you don’t have that. The result? After completing 210M I have been able to produce and mix a great sounding demo for my friends and do studio work I didn’t know was possible before. "Based on Digidesign's website qualifying Future Rhythm for teaching the Post
Production Expert Certification classes, I made my decision to enroll in the
full curriculum. The two teachers I had were thorough in their knowledge of
the materials. Both Brian and Peter shared their real-world experience in
conjunction with the academic coursework. Their combined excitement for the
field of audio for both music and post made for enlightened class
discussions. All questions were explored and answered even at the most basic
level. Post production workflows were guided throughout demonstrations of
cabling and signal flow through mixing and final output to online tape. The
signal paths of the worksurfaces were extremely helpful in preparing for the
expert exams. The 210p and 310p classes focused on workflows, especially how
to maintain sync in a post environment. There was an extreme amount of
material conveyed, however, it was done at a pace that made it not seem
daunting or overwhelming at any time. I purchased a Digi 003 Rack when the
201 class began and couldn't wait to start practicing and building my own
experience."
